I am lousy

I must be super super dumb to not notice that people left me comments on my blog. And sorry guys for the super delayed replies and thank you so much for the comments! Hahaha!

Anyway, just wanted to complain about something that's been bugging the living lights out of me! You see, when I moved into my new place on April 2nd, the agent informed us that there was a broken window in my apartment. Most of my friends who have visited would know how terrible the damage is. It's a floor-to-ceiling glass window, and it's all shattered to pieces and now only a layer of protective plastic is protecting it from smashing onto my floor!

The thing is, they could not even come up with a proper explanation as to what happened to the glass before we moved in! All they blamed on was the wind. Being the unsuspicious person that I am, I believed them and yeah, blamed it on the wind. Afterall, the day we moved in was one of the windiest days in Melbourne's history. Imagine, a cyclone hitting Melbourne and killing at least one person in the process. Bad sign, huh? And since we're quite high up, we could even feel the wind slapping against the apartment which btw, is all covered in glass only.

But as the days went on, we began to analyse the whole situation. How could it be possible that only one glass broke in the whole apartment when the wind hit us in all directions? And how come the broken glass is only shattered on the inside and not the outside? You see, there are two layers of glass and the outside one still looks steady and firm. So, we got even a few of our friends to confirm our suspicions. That it was actually broken by impact.

Oh well, we confronted them but they continued denying. And we were promised that it would be fixed within two weeks. And now, it's close to a month since we moved in, and the glass has not been replaced. How inefficient can they be? I've personally gone up to the office about six times to see the agent and complain about it. Phone calls have also been made and it seems that they're only pushing the blame from one party to another. Goodness gracious!

Today, I finally gave them the ultimatum. Get it done or we'll complain to the owner of the apartment. Thanks for the idea Eujin, Eddie & Eileen! Haha...and guess what? They're gonna get it fixed soon! Haha...I'm beginning to think that it's my agent's fault for not following up. Grrr...

Well, yeah, that's all there is to complain about for now. But yeah...people, next time learn from my lesson. Just contact the owner directly if need be!

Also, apologies for the empty promises of the housewarming. It's not quite possible to have it until the glass is fixed and so...we shall wait! =)

Spot the difference!

As the title suggests, this post is gonna be about my super awesome weekend church camp which was once again held in Philip Island. This year's camp had a major impact on me, so much that it drilled a huge hole in my heart and replaced it with so much strength, hope and immense joy.

What made it even more special was that I just got baptised the week before. Gosh...it's so hard to put into words how everything made me feel. April is such a special month for me now. Both my parents' birthdays and of course, April 19th, my re-birthday! =)

Today is my long-time good friend's birthday so..HAPPY BIRTHDAY aSHAUNtee!

And I'm down with flu and cough...once again...bleh!

And btw, I made an awesome discovery at camp. Haha...ok, maybe someone else would've noticed it already but gosh...it made me feel oh-so-wonderful! Just when we were repeating the words "Hallelujah" in our worship, I was praying for healing (my hearing), and that was when I realised "H-E-A-L" can be formed from the word "Hallelujah". Fine, maybe it doesn't sound as great as I thought it was but...ah, don't steal my thunder!

Oh man...I don't like getting sick.

Lately, my friends have been commenting that my face is super flexible in that I can make all sorts of funny expressions. Maybe I should be a clown part-time. Lalala...

Also, I've been baking so much since I moved to my new place. Just made tiramisu today and it'd better be nice! Gosh I so love spending time in the kitchen. Might as well be a full-time housewife.

Just realised that this post is super random. I'll go off now!

Anyway, be good everyone!
